Simple And Super-Flexible
But it gets better, because this ain’t your mama’s notepad (or even a fancy remake of it).
First: the Compass has precision-cut perforated pages. So if you’re done with a page, just pull it out! And notice that it comes out CLEAN… no mess, no stress, no papery ends.
Second: the Compass is reversible! Open it from the front and you’ve got the lined indentation rule ready—but open it from the back and you’ll see a dot grid in ready position. As always, we account for both disciplines of an idea.

I have always loved this notebook for its flip up design as opposed to a book style opening. The pages are great and thick enough to be used with a fountain pen (with little to no bleed!), but not so thick that they are a pain to deal with at the same time. the design even allows for a great task tracking setup or app design notebook for designers who want to draw what they want on the top page and explanations and diagrams on the bottom page. Truly a great design, however the one thing I wish that I could have is a version of this with a coil binding as opposed to the lay flat one. It would be so amazing to be able to fully open this notebook and flip the pages 180 degrees to make writing while standing a bit easier, without damaging the notebook at all.

I love this notebook. It is perfect resting on my desk next to my computer so I can take notes during videocons. It is a perfect size! When I was traveling a lot it is also extremely convenient to take with me. For me, the upward flip is key to being able to take notes clearly and swiftly.
