The Origin is suitably named… it’s the very first notebook we produced in business. For many people, the Origin is also the starting point for a (new) love of paper—hard to resist when that paper is smooth, acid-free, and 25% thicker than our nearest competitor. It’s all bound into a portable, modern gray hardcover that lays flat when you’re writing. But what else?
Code&Quill notebooks are designed to help people think—and that’s what our page layouts do. The Origin is made with our crowd-favorite split layout: dot grid on the left pages, unique narrow-ruled lines on the right pages. You don’t have to choose between visuals and notes… now you can do both!
The Monolith is also suitably named. As a scaled-up version of the Origin, it has the same class and charm—but it’s bigger and harder to miss. This version of the Monolith has all pages equipped with our “indentation rule,” a narrow-ruled line with tiny hash marks every 5mm. Originally meant to mimic tabulation for writing code, it’s proven useful for anyone who writes notes.
Get the First&Line — our first notebook and our lined notebook, both in gray hardcover. And if they’re your first Code&Quill notebooks, we bet they won’t be your last.
