Meet the Mediocre Daily Backpack
We made this Backpack with good intentions. But it didn't turn out to be the quality we wanted. While it looks great, feels great, and generally functions well as a backpack, the inside liner and plastic buckles are prone to breaking. This won't happen for ever user, but it happened to enough that we have to point it out.
Even knowing this, we still think these backpacks have value. So we are selling them here and letting you set the price. Make your offer, and chances are you'll own a perfectly Mediocre Daily Backpack.
This backpack is like bad pizza, it's still pizza. Or like living in the penthouse of a five floor walkup. Or like having a day off on a rainy day. The point is, it's still a backpack, just not the high quality we'd all prefer. But we're hoping being completely upfront with will help you set an accurate price.
And let us point this out - we won't take returns on this product. We just can't let you set the price and then accept returns because we can't lose money twice. We hope you understand.
Simple, minimal, and thoughtful. The Daily Backpack is perfect for your daily commute, whether that's to an office or a coffee shop.

My Favorite Commuter Bag
I purchased/received this backpack at the end of Feb 2024, looking for a new "slimmer" backpack that doesn't become another obstacle in a subway car and (despite the warnings about the buckles and lining) this bag does deliver. The Good: It has just the right amount of space for your laptop (up to approx 16"), a code & quill notebook/tablet and items that are helpful throughout the day (water bottles, external battery, chargers, etc). It also is easy to maneuver and change the length via the buckles (so long as your not wearing the backpack, buckle almost broke once doing it on the fly). The front pouch is also great to store some items that you can also reach very quickly. The Bad: The lining has some minor wear/tear from only using it 5 times. The front pouch is again convenient to store some items you quickly need access to but has no organizational storage like most backpacks do nowadays. The water bottle holders that zip up nicely to modularly go back into the bag can only hold (with ease) a 16 fl oz water bottle/can before it starts to move around (I had my 18 fl oz yeti fall out of it just by quickly moving a different direction). The zippers sometimes get stuck when trying to open and close the bag/front pouch. TL;DR: The bag performs exactly how they describe it so long as you are careful with how you use it. Despite a few issues, I would definitely purchase the next version of this backpack (if there are plans for one).

It's only been about a week since I started using my mediocre backpack and I have to say I love it! Of course that may all change a couple of weeks from now but it's been a really great daily bag. I truly love the size and my MacBook and C&Q notebook fit perfectly. Plenty of pockets for all my other knick knacks. I look forward to putting it through daily Metro riding routine.
